What fruit trees grow best in Florida?
Does anyone know what fruit trees /plants grow best in Florida? Im looking for something that is easy to take care of and can grow in various seasons. These are my options: Mulberry tree,apricot, sweet cherry trees, Fruiting Banana Plants, persimmon trees, peach trees, blackberry, rassberry, blueberries, pomello, kiwi. Does anyone know abt any of these fruits growing in Florida? I’m new to this, I know nothing abt fruit trees.. So any advice would be of a great help!:)

Mulberry, persimmon, and blackberry will grow in almost any part of Florida. Peach, raspberry, blueberry, and kiwi will grow in most parts of Florida if you get the correct varieties. Banana and Pummelo will grow in areas of Florida without freezes. Apricot and Sweet Cherry will not get enough cold weather in Florida to break dormancy. You can look up the hardiness zone for your part of Florida at the link below. Then find the adaptation of the plant/variety of the plants you are interested in. Do a web search for each such as “Blueberry, Florida” (without quotes), and look for results with IFAS or ifas in the link. These links will be from the University of Florida, and will discuss culture and varieties adapted for Florida.
