What does a garden snake look like?
My dad found i and it ha a tan stripe down the middle.Around it’s stripe is a copper color with small white dots.
The key words here are “tan stripe down the middle”.
More than likely it’s from the Thamnophis genus which means it’s either a garter snake or a ribbon snake…which means it’s harmless. Just release it back into the wild.
