The annual Perseid meteor shower will reach its peak late Saturday night and before dawn on Sunday. The moon will be close to full, obscuring some of the meteors.

Im kinda scared to go some deserted place tonight cos theres no one else. Is there a place where people gather or something??
Yes, tonight. In the Eastern time zone it is best around 3:00 to 4:00 AM. I ahve already seen planty and am killing time at my computer waiting for it to get a little later. It will last for thrre or four nights but this is the best – no moon tonight and metioroids at their peak.
Go see it someplace where you can lie flat on your back, like a park picnic table and away from houses and street lighjts, of course.
